Karen Lim is currently the Head of Programmatic and Data at the Star Media Group, Malaysia and is responsible for leading the programmatic strategy for the company’s digital properties and building its programmatic and data technology stack. With more than twelve years of media experience, she has worked with media owners such as The International New York Times, SEA Globe, Focus Asean, Discover and The Metro Network and has exposure across international print, digital, and out-of-home (OOH) media.
As a business strategist, she contributes revenue perspectives into the development of digital product initiatives and champions operational efficiencies by leveraging on automation and the use of data.
A firm believer of change, she adopts processes that constantly iterate and improve by embracing the advancements of technology. Trained as a marketer with the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) UK, she is en route to achieving the Chartered Marketer status. When she’s not at work, she enjoys a good read and predicting movie endings.
